Longitude: 15th - 17th July

Indiependence: 29th - 31st July

In the past few years Indiependence has grown from strength-to-strength, and is now pulling in some big-hitting acts like Editors, The Kooks and Bell X1. Kids aged 12 and under are welcomed, and it’s free for them to enter the festival with a ticket-holding adult.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann: 14th - 22nd August

You won’t find a better introduction to rousing, foot-tapping traditional ceol for the kids than Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, the “greatest showcase for our Traditional Arts on Earth”. Over the course of the festival, prepare to dance, sing and get carried away by the magic of the Fleadh.

Dunmore East Bluegrass Festival: 25th - 28th August

If it’s a chilled vibe in a seaside setting you’re after, the much-loved annual Dunmore East International Bluegrass Festival will be right up your alley. The gorgeous Co. Waterford village is the perfect backdrop for a weekend of bluegrass, honky-tonk, blues, country and rhythm ‘n’ roots cowboy hats optional.
