The Lidl Neopolitan ice-cream sandwiches had to be my favourite purchase this week €2.35 for 10 large individually wrapped packets. Just 23 cent each, I mean seriously, where else would you see this incredible value?
I had to pick up some branded items this week as they are firm household favourites and change is a gradual thing you know?! I was really pleased that I didn't have to go to a second supermarket and I could buy my Yoplait Frubes, Nature Valley Crunchy breakfast bars and Dairygold butter in Lidl.
Another very successful week's shopping that came in at €103.

Great excitement in Lidl this week – I discovered an Italian range called “Italiamo” which I hadn’t noticed before and it’s absolutely gorgeous! I got a little carried away... I couldn’t resist. They do everything from black olive tapenade and sundried tomatoes to antipasti, amaretti biscuits and Italian coffee. It all looked very luxurious.
I got a full trolley this week for €112.64 which I was really happy with. I have enjoyed trying out Lidl over the last 4 weeks and won’t be going back to my previous shop in a hurry – I would find it sickening to pay the prices I had been.

I did try a number of new items this week with my fussy household. I tested a Chicken curry with Kanpur Garden Mild Curry Cooking Sauce teamed up with Golden Sun Long Grain Rice - this proved to be very popular with the family and got a definite thumbs up. Much to my delight, it only took minutes to prepare.
I also indulged in some fresh fish Inismara Cod Fillets with pepper and wild garlic, it was as good as any fish you would buy from a fresh fish counter with lots of euros to be saved.
After trying and testing for the past couple of weeks, Lidl is definitely on the top of my supermarket list and I can assure you once you've tried and tested you won't be going anywhere else!

Another surprise shop this week as I had a lot to get and managed to get everything I needed but the total came in at €80, that's around €60 less expensive than my normal shop which is amazing!
We also had fab cheese toasties with the Lidl bread from the bakery and some of the block cheese, this went down really well with the boys in the house.
Overall I am so impressed with Lidl, the range is much better than I expected and the value is incredible!

My children love chicken nuggets which I make from scratch so I got Braemoor Diced Chicken Breasts to whip up a batch later in the week.
A real eye opener for me this week was the amazing value to be had in the cleaning and household items. I picked up dishwasher tabs for €3.29 which is more than half of what I would usually pay. A pack of universal cloths (j cloths) for 69cent for 10 which is an absolute steal but my favourite items this week were the scented plug-ins which are just €3.49 each.
Given the amount of household/cleaning items I bought this week I would have expected to pay at least €130/€140 so was extremely happy with the €84 it cost me in Lidl.
